August 2012 PESE exam results released : NAPOLCOM

National Police Commission has released the results of the Police Executive Service Eligibility (PESE) exam held last August 26, 2012.

The test, which was simultaneously conducted in Manila, Cebu and Davao, were given to qualified police officers with the ranks of Police Chief Inspector and above and with permanent status.

The PESE has 2 phases: Phase I is the Written Exam and Phase 2 is the Panel Interview. The Commission said applicants who are qualified to the second phase should know their schedule for interview.

Those who will pass both phases shall be conferred the Police Executive Service Eligibility during an appropriate ceremony, the Napolcom posted on its official website.

October 2012 NAPOLCOM PNP Entrance and Promotional Exam Results : PRC

National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) releases the results of the Philippine National Police (PNP) entrance and promotional examinations conducted on October 14, 2012 online.

The web lists will state the names of successful examinees in the promotional exams for Superintendent, Police Inspector, Senior Police Officer and Police Officer, as well as the PNP entrance test and the top 20 passers list.

It is expected that the results will be out soon as NAPOLCOM has already made its official website ready for the release. It is now showing blank webpages for the passers lists.

October 2013 NAPOLCOM Police Exam Online Application Scheduling System (OLEASS)

The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) has announced the schedule of Online Exam Application Scheduling System or OLEASS, filling of applications and the exam date for the October 2013 PNP Entrance and Promotional Examinations.

PNP Entrance Exam: Examination Date: October 20, 2013 Period of On-line Application Scheduling : July 29-August 7, 2013 Period of Filing of Application : August 19 – September 13, 2013 PNP Promotional Exam: Examination Date: October 20, 2013 Period of On-line Application Scheduling: August 8-16,2013 Period of Filing of Application: August 19 – September 13, 2013 The OLEASS will be activated on July 29. Only applicants with confirmed schedule appointment (done online in OLEASS) with reference number shall be entertained. The Regional Office may limit the number of examinees it will accommodate, so acceptance of application, on a first-come, first-served basis, maybe stopped ahead of deadline.

After making your online scheduling, file your Napolcom exam applications from April 1-30, 2013. Only those with confirmed scheduled appointment will be entertained, on a first-come, first-served basis.

How to Apply

  1. Accomplish the one-page application form by filling out all of the blank fields in the application form. Fields marked with a red color are required. Submission will not be successful until all required fields are properly accomplished.
    TIPS
    • Use the scrollbar to select the desired option (ex. title of examination (for promotional examinations and city/municipalityname of examination, date, place, etc.)
    • When the search result is shown, click on the desired information to select the same. Use the exact keywords when searching.
    • Dates are entered in a specific format “mm/dd/yyyy” (ex. date of birth “01/30/1980″)
    • For applicants without a middle name, just key in a period (.)
  2. When the encoding is completed, click the SUBMIT button. A notification message will appear on screen confirming that you have successfully submitted your application. You can immediately print or save the confirmation letter displayed on the screen.
  3. Proceed to the NAPOLCOM Regional Office or to the office indicated on the confirmation letter and present all the documentary requirements for assessment, payment of prescribed fees and issuance of Notice of Admission (NOA).

Interested applicants may apply on the given schedule. To use the OLEASS, applicants must logon to the official website, click on the Online Examination Application Scheduling System. Fill out the mandatory fields as follows:

  • Last Name
  • First Name
  • Middle Name
  • EmailAddress
  • Home Address
  • Cellphone No.

Preferred Exam Center (for regional office with multiple Exam Centers) Exam Title Additional mandatory fields to be filled out by the entrance exam applicants are as follows:

  • Gender
  • Height
  • Age
  • Birthdate
  • Course Completed
  • Name of School

After completing the mandatory fields, applicant clicks SUBMIT. A confirmation will appear if submission was successful. If not, the process should be repeated until it is confirmed successful. The applicant must wait for the letter-reply which will be sent to the e-mail address he or she registered confirming his or her scheduled appointment for filing his or her applciation for the PNP entrance exams. Once the letter-reply is received, print it. This letter reply should be brought along with other requirements to the Exam Processor at the NAPOLCOM Regional Office where he/she prefers to take the examination.

Requirements in Filing of Application

PNP Entrance Exam:

  • Completed application form (download application form here) and Index card (here)
  • Printed letter-reply/corresponding reference number confirming the scheduled appointment
  • 2 recent, colored, and identical 1”x1” ID pictures with white background and complete name tag (for PNP members, the name tag should indicate the rank before the name)
  • one legal size window envelope with P9 worth of mailing stamp (for NCR, CAR, Regions 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5) and P12 (for Occidental and Oriental Mindoro, Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao)
  • transcript of scholastic record or diploma
  • birth certificate issued by the Local Civil Registrar or National Statistics Office (NSO)
  • For a PO1 with temporary appointment, a certified true copy of Attested Appointment, Plantilla Appointment or Special Order
  • Police Exam Fee: P400

PNP Promotional Exam:

  • Completed application form (download application form here) and Index card (here)
  • Printed letter-reply/corresponding reference number confirming the scheduled appointment
  • 2 recent, colored, and identical 1”x1” ID pictures with white background and complete name tag (for PNP members, the name tag should indicate the rank before the name)

The National Police Commission conducts two sets of police examinations twice
a year, one for those who are already in the police service (promotional), and
another for those aspiring to enter the Philippine National Police (PNP entrance).

Applicants shall utilize the on-line system to request the Regional Office for their schedule on the filing of examination application. Applicants will personally appear at the NAPOLCOM Regional Office on the date assigned to them, with their printed on-line confirmation letter and other required documents, for further evaluation.

33,734 to take NAPOLCOM police exams

       The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) will administer the Philippine National Police (PNP) entrance and promotional examinations on October 20, 2013 to a total of 33,734 examinees in designated testing centers nationwide.

       NAPOLCOM Vice-Chairman and Executive Officer Eduardo U. Escueta said that 13,651 will take the PNP entrance examination while 20,083 are distributed to the various promotional test categories.

       A total of 1,394 out of the 13,651 examinees for the PNP entrance test and 3,125 out of the 20,083 police examinees for promotional tests shall take the PNP exams at the Pitogo High School, Benigno Aquino High School and Fort Bonifacio High School, all in Makati City.

       Vice-Chairman Escueta added that this Sunday’s examinations will cover the qualifying examination for Police Officer I and the promotional examinations for Police Officers 2 and 3; Senior Police Officer (for SPO1 to SPO4); Police Inspector (for Inspector and Senior Inspector); and Police Superintendent (for Chief Inspector and Superintendent).

       “The coverage for PNP entrance examination consists of general information, verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and logical reasoning; while the promotional examinations include general information, police administration and operations, and police customs and tradition/values and ethical standards,” Escueta said.

       Director Josephmar B. Gil, NAPOLCOM Acting Personnel and Administrative Service Chief, said that the examinees are scheduled to proceed to their respective testing centers in the cities of Makati, San Fernando (La Union), Tuguegarao, Angeles, Cabanatuan, Calamba, Calapan, Legaspi, Iloilo, Cebu, Tacloban, Pagadian, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Koronadal, Cotabato, Butuan and Baguio and the provinces of Zambales (Iba) and Romblon (Romblon).

       “The Commission requires all examinees to strictly observe the dress code in reporting to the examination centers. Applicants for the PNP Entrance examination should wear plain white T-shirt/polo shirt, dark pants and shoes while those who will take the promotional examinations are required to wear GOA Type B or the PNP Patrol Uniform,” Director Gil said.  

       He likewise stressed that examinees NOT in the prescribed attire will not be allowed to enter the examination center.

       Director Gil also reminded the examinees to bring their notice of admission, pencil no. 2, black ball pen and any valid identification card with picture and signature. Examinees are also strictly prohibited to bring inside the testing center cellular phones, electronic gadgets, pagers or any two-way radio set, calculators, review materials, explosives, or deadly weapons.

       “Firearms should be deposited outside the examination area,” Director Gil stressed.

       He also underscored that anyone who commits any form of examination irregularity, such as cheating, impersonation, perjury or violation of examination rules shall be dealt with administratively and/or criminally. In addition, his/her examination result and eligibility shall be invalidated.
